Panitch Schwarze partner Fred Tecce will speak at AIPLA's 2016 Mid-Winter Institute, "Enforcing IP From Creation to Monetization and Litigation."
Tecce's session is entitled "Challenges and Trends Facing Diagnostic and Medical Treatment Patents" and is part of a session focusing on recent decisions on patent eligibility and strategies patent owners can employ when facing § 101 challenges at the trial courts.
Formed in 1897, the American Intellectual Property Law Association is a national bar association with nearly 15,000 members, mostly lawyers in private and corporate practice, government service, and in academics. Its mission is to advocate and educate on matters related to intellectual property law.
