Gary M. Cohen, Esq. is a registered Patent Attorney with over thirty years of prior experience in various mechanical and electrical art fields, including medical and dental devices, storage batteries, and measurement systems, including computer applications. Mr. Cohen comes to the firm from private practice where, for over fifteen years, he has served large and small companies as well as individual clients in all phases of representation in the field of intellectual property. Primary emphasis included the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, as well as trademark applications and copyright matters. Also included are licensing matters, and advice on issues of patentability, infringement and validity, with an emphasis on effective interaction with engineering, scientific and key management personnel, and the development of early-stage strategies and their subsequent implementation.
Mr. Cohen received his B.S.E.E. in 1974 from Drexel University cum laude and his J.D. in 1977 from Temple University School of Law (Member - Temple Law Quarterly).
Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since July of 1978 (Registration No. 28,834); before the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania since December of 1978; and before the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since October of 1977.
Mr. Cohen is a member of the American Bar Association (Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights Section) and Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association (Computer Practice Committee).

Mr Cohen is a member of the Ferrari Club of America, which also includes concours participation and judging. He enjoys skiing and is on several committees at the Main Line Unitarian Church.
