Dr. Ming He is a patent agent who assists in the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications, as well as conducting searches and reviews to assist in due diligence, patentability and freedom to operate analyses. He specializes in patent related issues in the chemical and pharmaceutical arts.

Prior to joining Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, Dr. He was a Patent Agent at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox. Before starting his career in intellectual property law, he worked as a Senior Process Chemist at a pharmaceutical company and a Senior Research Assistant in Unilever. 

Dr. He received a B.S. in chemistry from Nanjing University and a M.S. in Natural Product Chemistry from Fudan University.  He completed his doctorate in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received multiple awards including Roche Bioscience Graduate Excellence Award, John H. Tokuyama Memorial Fellowship, and Robert H. DeWolfe Teaching Fellowship. During his postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. He worked on total synthesis of natural products.  His research has led to publications in prominent scientific journals, including Heterocycles, Organic  Letters, and Journal of the American Chemical Society.
