PHILADELPHIA (May 2021) – Panitch Schwarze partner Travis W. Bliss, Ph.D. presented at the AIPLA Spring 2021 meeting entitled ‘Cannabis and the Law’. His presentation focused on patents for the cannabis industry.

This year’s American Intellectual Property Law Association spring meeting included a diverse, global community of law firms, companies and institutions involved in the practice of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and other unfair competition laws.

The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) is a national bar association composed largely of lawyers in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic profession. AIPLA represents a broad and diverse continuum of individuals from law firms, institutions and companies.
