Panitch Schwarze Names Fred Tecce Partner

PHILADELPHIA (January 1, 2013) – Panitch Schwarze Belisario and Nadel LLP is pleased to announce that patent attorney and former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division, Fred A. Tecce, has been named partner of the firm. Mr. Tecce currently focuses his practice primarily on intellectual property litigation. He has extensive federal court litigation and trial experience handling matters such as theft of trade secrets, antitrust, copyrights, trademarks, cyber-squatting, domain name misappropriation, idea misappropriation and unfair competition.

Mr. Tecce has successfully handled countless patent and intellectual property litigations both on behalf of intellectual property owners and in defense of charges of infringement and misappropriation.

In addition to his IP practice, Mr. Tecce has handled significant criminal defense matters, including kidnapping and the killing of a federal witness, organized crime, bank robbery and false reporting cases involving the Federal Aviation Administration. He is often called upon to comment on various matters and has appeared more than 300 times on various networks such as The Fox News Network, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and NBC's The Today Show.
